It was so much fun! The entire team were brilliant, very informative and always on hand to help. I wanted to ensure I gave a personal thank you as we added the extra challenge of being vegans! This was no problem for the team, however, who allowed us to still come along and provided us with a full range of alternative vegan ingredients to make the pasta! They really went over and above!

It was so much fun!

Any one who is interested in cooking will love this experience. The crew are happy, involving and confident in everything that goes on in the kitchen. Not only do you learn some excellent skills, but you get to eat fresh and delicious food once you’ve made it. Fantastic experience, would highly recommend.

Team Building Restaurant Experience

Thank you once again to you, Ben and the rest of the team for having us. Catching up with them today they really enjoyed the experience and there is a buzz about trying the techniques and recipes out at home. I certainly picked up a few technique tidbits myself!

Year 10 Pastry Workshop

Thinking of exciting activities isn’t easy when you have to do it 4 times a year. Brighton Cookery School was recommended to me, so I decided to give it a shot. The team loved it! So different to the usual karting etc. They haven’t stopped talking about it since and a couple of them even have plans to revisit with their partners. Ben is a great host/teacher. He’s very knowledgeable and makes the session interactive and educational. We were sent the recipes after the session so we can impress family and friends with our new found cooking skills. Overall, an amazing evening. I’d recommend this to anyone, whether it’s a stag/hen, or a team building activity. Book it!

As a keen cook I was given the street food course as a present. Must admit, I was a bit sceptical given that I would be on my own, and wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had a great time. I learnt new skills (including how to fillet a chicken thigh) and was pleased with the results. Ben and his team were fantastic, and really looked after us all – no easy feat when there are people at different levels, including children. Glad I went, and would definitely think about going on another course.

Something for everyone

Salmon Gravlax Gravlax is a Nordic dish of raw salmon, cured in salt, sugar, and dill, usually served as an appetiser or canapé in the U.K, sliced thinly and accompanied by ‘hovmästarsås’, a dill and mustard sauce, either on bread or traditionally with boiled potatoes. Poor Man’s Shellfish?

Often regarded as poor man’s shellfish, mussels are cheap and plentiful. In the wild, they grow on coastline rocks and stones but the majority of mussels available in the UK are farmed in suitable coastal waters. Mussels are one of the most environmentally sound types of fish or shellfish available, and with no heavy price to pay for these abundant…
