Traditional Italian Cooking & Dining Experience

Traditional Italian Cooking & Dining Experience

Tuesday 18th September, 6.30pm – 10.30pm

Italian food started to form after the fall of the Roman Empire, when different cities began to separate and form their own traditions. Regional cuisine is represented by some of the major cities in Italy. For example, Milan (north of Italy) is known for its risottos, Bologna (the central/middle of the country) is known for its tortellini and Naples (the south) is famous for its pizzas and spaghettis.

Our Classic Italian cookery class will have you cooking up a 3-course feast before dining with your fellow Chefs. Come on your own, with a friend or group and let your taste buds be tickled!

The menu you’ll master:
Gnocchi alla Porcini Crema
Gnocchi with porcini mushrooms in a creamy white wine sauce
Osso Buco
Braised cross cut lamb shank in a rich pomodoro sauce served with seasonal greens and a runny parmesan polenta
Melanzane Alla Parmigiana
Aubergine rolls with a ricotta and spinach filling braised in a rich pomodoro sauce served with a runny parmesan polenta

Included in this session: 4-hour profession cookery tuition & dining experience, all ingredients, protective apron and mineral water throughout the event. A complimentary Italian beer or wine will be served with your meal. You are welcome to B.Y.O to this event.
